There were 32 junior college players on PG Crosschecker’s list of the nation’s top 500 prospects for the 2008 draft, which was unveiled on this site Wednesday. The top juco prospect is Community College of Southern Nevada sophomore outfielder Devin Shepherd, a fifth-round draft pick of the Minnesota Twins out of a California high school in 2005 who spent his freshman season at the University of Oklahoma. Shepherd was ranked No. 90 overall.
