Boston’s Fenway Park, the oldest major league stadium in existence, will be on display this weekend when the Red Sox host the Cleveland Indians in the American League Championship Series. Fenway was built in 1912 and there are no plans in the works to replace it.
Meanwhile, 20 of the 30 major league stadiums in use in 2007 have been built since 1990 and there are plans to replace five of the 10 facilities that were constructed prior to 1990. Following are the 10 oldest major league stadiums in use this season. |
