We’ve talked often this spring with scouting directors and other front-office people integrally involved with the inner-workings of the 2009 draft, insofar as how the national economy/baseball economy will impact the signability status of select players in this year’s class. The answers have been fairly consistent; “We’re sure it will, but we don’t know how much yet.”
